I got into photography when I was twelve years old I won a prize in a school photography competition using a 127 Kodak camera with bakelite body. My first SLR was a Zenit E, heavy and bulky but a great camera to learn on, followed by various Olympus OM series cameras. I initially resisted the change to digital photography but eventually "converted" using the Canon EOS system with various Macs along the way. I’ve recently supplemented my equipment with a Fujifilm X10, a great piece of kit with a near perfect blend of old school handling and modern digital technology. Its surprisingly small and perfect if I want to travel light.

Although I like all forms of motorsport, Superbikes and Motocross are particular favourites and most weekends see me trackside. I shoot mainly for fun, but images have been published in Autosport, Carweek and Redline magazines as well as the local press.

I've had a few bikes (road and off-road) over the years and I currently have a couple of Honda VFRs, However I'm now very much a fair weather rider and I get as much pleasure playing about with them in the garage as I do riding them.

I can be contacted through the comments, twitter or by filling in the form below to send me an email.
